Yorkshire, sir!

Yorkshire Pudding

Yorkshire puddings are hard to describe. They’re not muffins, they’re not pudding (as most of us know it), and they’re not bread. They’re.. English. And they’re delicious.

But what is a yorkshire pudding? It’s a wonderful little puffy-pastry-thing that happens when you roast-fry a savory batter of eggs, milk, salt and flour in a hot muffin pan. They puff up golden brown and crispy on the outside, soft and delicious on the inside. And they are roast beef’s best friend.

In fact, if you’re British or Canadian, a roast beef just wouldn’t be the same without a puffy yorkshire pudding to help sop up that gravy! Watch this video to see for yourself.
